Caroline Pierce

Caroline is a fourth-year undergraduate from Fort Worth, Texas, pursuing a B.A. in Journalism with minors in Political Science and French. At SMU, she serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for the 2025-2026 term, representing the student body as the Student Trustee. She is also the President of SMU’s Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, a Student Worker in the Office of the Senior Vice President for Student Affairs, and a member of Chi Omega sorority. Caroline has served as an SMU Orientation Leader and Associate Editor of SMU Look Magazine. Outside of her SMU activities, Caroline has always been passionate about politics. She interned as a freelance reporter on Capitol Hill for a national wire service, where she interviewed members of Congress and covered press briefings and congressional hearings on key policy issues. Caroline returned to Washington, D.C., to work as a Media and Operations Assistant for The Fund for American Studies, an educational nonprofit. She has been named a Fulbright semifinalist for an English Teaching Assistant award in Belgium. She plans to attend law school in Fall 2027.
