Aaliyah Staples

Aaliyah Staples is a senior from Mesquite, TX, majoring in Business Management with minors in English and Public Policy & International Affairs through the Tower Scholars Program. She is also a BBA Scholar and Hilltop Scholar with an extensive tutoring and mentorship background through Partners in Opportunity and the Teach for America Ignite Fellowship, where she has served since Fall 2023. Aaliyah brings professional experience in HR and insurance roles at Saville CPA, State Farm, and Texas Instruments. After graduation, she will begin an HR development program at Texas Instruments to further build her background in employment services, with plans to attend law school part time and specialize in labor and employment law upon completing the HR program. Guided by empathy and a commitment to inclusivity, Aaliyah strives to create workplaces where all voices are heard, represented, and supported.
