Application Fee Waiver

Welcome, Prospective Mustangs!

To use this fee waiver, select which application deadline and method are right for you and apply using any of our three applications. Follow these directions depending on your application type:

• The Common Application – select fee waiver code TW1300 to answer the question “Do you intend to use one of these school-specific fee waivers?” under SMU’s member questions tab.
• Apply Coalition on SCOIR – on the payment page use fee waiver codes TW1300 or PR17147.
• ApplyTexas – when prompted for payment method, select "Request for fee waiver."

SMU is fully test-optional. All applicants are automatically considered for a variety of merit-based scholarships.
