Ryan Reed

Ryan Reed is a class of 2015 SMU Film & Media Arts alumni who joined the Meadows staff in November 2017. He oversees the film production equipment and post-production lab spaces. Outside of his work at SMU, Ryan is the active creative director and lead cinematographer at Visual Voice Media, a Dallas-based video marketing agency. Because of this continued experience in the industry, he is able to serve as a great resource for students with a focus on cinematography and lighting. At SMU he enjoys working with students: hosting occasional equipment workshops, creating online training videos, and offering one-on-one appointments to discuss what equipment and tools might be needed to pull off the perfect shot.
