Visit Lyle

Information sessions and tours for prospective students are offered Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and are not available during University Holidays. During this time, you will have the opportunity to meet with a member of the Lyle Recruitment and Strategic Enrollment office and receive a tour of the engineering facilities. 

In addition to the Lyle Engineering Academic Information Session, daily visits through the SMU Admissions Office are offered Monday through Friday, allowing you to tailor activities to your interests, to get an authentic Mustang-life experience. Each daily visit includes a 30-minute information session, immediately followed by a one-hour campus tour.

Spend a day on campus on Mustang Days, held during the summer preceding the fall of your senior year. Topics covered range from academic offerings and campus life to merit-based scholarships and financial aid, and includes a campus tour.

For 9th through 11th graders, SpringFest is an introduction to SMU and the college admissions process. This one-day, on-campus program includes workshops, academic sessions and a campus tour.
