Customer Research: A Dallas-based restaurant company wanted to survey their customers about preferences for service and the role of technology in the ordering and payment process.

Students visited restaurants, met with management and operations leaders, and developed a customer survey (deployed in restaurants via QR codes) to collect data from hundreds of customers, then analyzed trends and reported insights and recommendations to restaurant executives.

Branding and Marketing Recommendations: A well-respected company in the educational technology and consulting industry sought assistance updating their branding and messaging and developing a plan to distribute content via social media.

The student team researched branding guidelines and recommended new logos and color palettes for the business (tying these to company history and education industry trends). They also educated the customer on social media best practices, assisted with account setup, and curated existing educational and promotional content from the customer into a social media posting schedule for regular communication to their audience.

Marketing/Messaging: A Dallas-based group of medical offices sought to increase customer awareness of their services and increase traffic for a particular service line.

The student team conducted site observations, met with executives to understand their vision for increasing business in certain segments of the business, then developed a messaging and promotion approach that included creation of location signage, website updates, and social media posting to promote the desired approach (all developed by the student team).
