The Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program at SMU Cox opens the door to this burgeoning field. By taking courses across a range of disciplines, you'll explore the latest methods being used to analyze individual-level data and turn it into actionable information.

  • The MSBA is a 33-credit-hour degree with full-time and part-time attendance options. The full-time program can be completed in nine months across two semesters (four, seven-week modules). The part-time program can be completed in 17 months across four semesters (eight, seven-week modules).

A Data Analytics Program with Multi-Disciplinary Curriculum

  • This degree program is jointly owned by the Information Technology and Operations Management (ITOM) Department and the Marketing Department within the SMU Cox Business School. It focuses on true Business Analytics from a Business, Statistical and Information Technology perspective.

Full-Time or Part-Time MS in Business Analytics

The Full-Time MS in Business Analytics is an immersive, on-campus experience designed for students seeking to complete the program in an accelerated format. The curriculum is delivered through a structured, cohort-based schedule that allows students to engage deeply with analytics coursework while collaborating closely with peers and faculty. The Part-Time track offers the same on-campus curriculum in a flexible format for working professionals. Students progress through the program while balancing professional responsibilities, applying analytics concepts from the classroom directly to real-world business challenges.
