• Concentrations and Minors

Every MBA student begins the program with a general business concentration. In each fall and spring term, students have a designated time when the concentration and minor selections can be changed. MBA students complete one or more concentrations with the option of completing one or more minors to meet their academic goals. Concentrations and minors will print on the students transcript record but specializations do not. Only the degree, MBA, appears on diplomas. A directed study course does not count toward a concentration or minor requirement. For course descriptions, please review the Graduate Programs Course Catalog.

PLEASE NOTE: Changes that have been made to concentrations and minors will reflect on the unofficial transcript when the student enrolls in the following term. E.g. if you change your concentration in the spring, your unofficial transcript will not reflect the change until you are enrolled in the following fall term. This will in no way hinder your priority enrollment

Note: While the Cox School encourages all students to select the concentration and minor of their choosing, it cannot ensure that all classes will be available in every term to meet the requirements.
