Founded in 2014 by Darwin Deason, the Darwin Deason Institute for Cyber Security exists to advance the science, policy and application of cyber security through basic problem-driven, interdisciplinary research. The underlying philosophy guiding Institute activities is based on establishing a foundational science of cyber security through the adoption of a broad, interdisciplinary approach for solving cybersecurity problems.
