Working with Assistant Professor Janille Smith-Colin, PhD, PE, their research seeks to create better outcomes for environmental justice communities in the infrastructure development process, creating a more just transportation system now and for future generations.

The SMU team presented their design for primary treatment upgrades to the City of Houston Intercontinental Airport Wastewater Treatment Plan.
