Biographical Note

Laura Cheever is an infectious disease physician as well as former associate administrator for the HIV/AIDS Bureau of the Health Resources and Services Administration and head of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program. She helped with the scale up of PEPFAR shortly after it was announced in 2003.
