Brent Schneider

Brent Schneider is an adjunct faculty member at the SMU Cox School of Business. He brings experience in investment management, financial advisory services and business consulting to his teaching. His professional work has included mergers and acquisitions advisory, financial analysis and the development of growth strategies for financial services firms.

Schneider is chief executive officer of Schneider Global Heavy Industries, where his consulting work spans marketing, revenue growth and human resources. Previously, he advised private equity firms on middle market acquisitions at Andra Partners and worked with financial advisory firms at ClientWise. He also held investment sales and specialist roles at Wells Fargo, Jennison Associates and MetLife Investors.

Schneider earned an MBA and a Master of Science in Accounting from SMU Cox and a Bachelor of Business Administration in investment finance from the University of North Texas. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC) and Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designations.
