Aaron Rabinowitz

Alex Zhou is the James M. Collins Chair in Finance and a Professor of Finance at the Cox School of Business. His research focuses on financial intermediation and market microstructure, with an emphasis on fixed income markets. His work has been published in top academic journals, including the Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, and Management Science, and has been featured by the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Forbes, Bloomberg, and CNN. Before joining SMU, Alex served as a principal economist at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. He earned his Ph.D. from Cornell University in 2008.
