Business Leadership Center

Business Leadership Center

You won't learn theory on the job and you won't learn to be a great business leader just sitting in the classroom. That's why we created the Edwin L. Cox Business Leadership Center (BLC). We were hearing from the corporate world that students graduating from traditional MBA programs weren't ready to take charge. Today at SMU Cox, you'll find more than academic rigor. Beyond the classroom, the BLC's innovative offerings paired with our various experiential learning programs will prepare you to move forward with a confidence that's rooted in skills.

While graduate business programs traditionally focus on classroom lessons, textbooks, and case studies, the Business Leadership Center develops Cox MBA students by fostering conversations and addressing leadership challenges through Seminars, Executive Speaker Series, Experiential Learning Programs and Coaching.

While graduate business programs traditionally focus on classroom lessons, textbooks, and case studies, the Business Leadership Center develops Cox Master's of Science and MBA students by fostering conversations and addressing leadership challenges through Seminars, Executive Roundtables, Applied Leadership Programs, and Coaching.
