Image boxes

Overview

Use the image box feature to showcase a grid of images. Each image can be accompanied by a heading, description, and optional call-to-action button. This feature works best when used on wider page sections. As an alternative, the Image List feature can be used on narrower page sections.

Usage guidelines

  • Keep headings and descriptions compact.
  • Display no more than three images per row.
  • Keep content left-aligned for best readability, and never justify content.
  • Ensure linked text is descriptive. Avoid linking generic phrases, such as "read more" or "learn more," especially in a repeated fashion. Consider linking title or body copy in place of buttons.
  • Use the same button color for each group of images.
  • Use matching image ratios, and keep image widths to 800 pixels or less. This will decrease page load time and improve search engine optimization.

Responsive layout

This feature loads differently on smaller screens, such as phones and tablets, than it does on wider desktop or laptop computers. Always review how your page will load across different page sizes before publishing.
