Hamon Charitable Foundation
The five-year gift of $2 million supports opportunities for local, underrepresented middle and high school students to attend the Hamon Engineering Camps and apply for college scholarships to the Lyle School of Engineering through the Jake L. Hamon Scholars Cohort. This gift also includes teachers, from our partner schools, attending the camps to engage with the Lyle students and faculty.
Knowledge is Power Program (KIPP)
Knowledge is Power Program (KIPP) is another one of our school network partners for our Hamon Engineering Camps. We have young ladies and men from the following schools attend the camps: KIPP Truth Academy, KIPP Destiny Middle School, KIPP Pleasant Grove Middle School and KIPP Oak Cliff Academy.
Young Womens Preparatory Network
The Young Women’s Preparatory Network (YWPN) is one of our school network partners for our Hamon Engineering Camps. We have young ladies from the following schools attend the camps: Irma Lerma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership School Dallas, Young Women’s Leadership Academy San Antonio, Young Women’s Leadership Academy Forth Worth, Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders Austin and Young Women’s Leadership Academy at Bill Arnold Grand Prairie.
