SMU Express Shuttles

Offering complimentary transportation around the SMU campuses, shopping, and dining for SMU faculty, staff, students, and guests.

Take an easy ride to class, shopping and fun on DART with a DART Transit Pass. Request your pass through the SMU Parking and ID Card Services Office, and you have unlimited access to DART Rail and buses. 

Red Shuttle (DART 440)

The SMU Express Red Shuttle takes you to campus, popular student apartment areas and nearby stores, services and restaurants. And you can connect to the DART Rail Red, Blue or Orange Line and other buses at SMU/Mockingbird Station.

In Session Service schedule operates when classes are in session in the Fall and Spring Semesters.

Blue Shuttle (DART 442)

The SMU Express Blue Shuttle offers complimentary transportation around the SMU main and East campuses for SMU faculty, staff, students and guests. The new Blue Route significantly increases the number of stops on the main SMU campus while also serving additional parking areas on the East campus.

  • The shuttle operates in a clockwise loop, originating on Dyer Street on the East Campus and encircling the Main Campus every half hour from 5:30 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (with the exception of University holidays).

Out of Session Service

SMU Express

The Out of Session Service operates when regular undergraduate classes are not in session: Winter Break, Spring Break, Summer Break, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and major holidays Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Good Friday, etc. 

Out of Session schedule begins on Monday, May 13, 2024, and ends on Monday, August 26, 2023.

Rider Alerts
