Biographical Note:

Angela Stent served as the national intelligence officer for Russia and Eurasia at the National Intelligence Council from 2004 to 2006 and in the State Department’s Office of Policy Planning from 1999-2001. From 2008 to 2012, Stent was a member of the NATO Supreme Allied Commander in Europe advisory panel. She is professor emerita of government and foreign service at Georgetown University.
