Since its founding more than three decades ago, the Caruth Institute has continuously developed innovative courses and programs to help individuals keep pace with the dynamic, rapidly changing field of entrepreneurship. The Institute currently offers more than 18 custom-designed courses to give students the skills and knowledge necessary to launch and manage successful entrepreneurial ventures.

Bobby B. Lyle Professor of Entrepreneurship and Chair of the Strategy and Entrepreneurship Group
With an academic track record that spans MIT, the Wharton School and Yale, Dr. Walker's teaching has been recognized by both Business Week and SMU. Global companies tap his expertise as a business strategist and consultant. He is the author of many journal articles and the book, Modern Competitive Strategy.

Simon Mak
Professor of Practice
Hailed as a visionary and "startup evangelist" by the Dallas business community, Dr. Mak brings Silicon Valley expertise to Cox classrooms. He's the recipient of a Cox Teaching Innovation Award and heads the department's Blockchain Entrepreneurship program. Dr. Mak also leads overseas tours in which students investigate the entrepreneurial ecosystem..

Wendy Bradley
Assistant Professor
Dr. Bradley studies how technological disruption affects strategies for protecting and commercializing innovation in the digital economy. Her work is motivated by her previous experience as a financial consultant for litigation and transactional law firms in the U.S. and abroad. She researches technological innovation, strategic management and entrepreneurship.
