Plans are underway for SMU and the Cox School 2023 Spring Commencement Ceremonies. Commencement Day is set for Saturday, May 13. The All-University ceremony will take place at 8:30 a.m. at Moody Coliseum. Later the same day, Moody Coliseum will also be the site for both the Cox Undergraduate Ceremony at 1:00 p.m. and the Cox Graduate Ceremony at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are not required for the Cox ceremonies at Moody Coliseum.
Please note that tickets are required for candidate entry into the All-University Ford Stadium ceremony, but tickets are not required for guests. Please see Request Commencement Tickets for more information. Guests who are unable to attend the All-University ceremony may stream it live at smu.edu/live.
BBA students should check in at noon, dressed in commencement regalia, at the Dedman Center for Lifetime Sports to line-up for the ceremony. Guests unable to attend the BBA ceremony may stream it live here.
Graduate students should check in at 2:00 p.m. at the Dedman Center in their regalia. Guests unable to attend the Cox graduate commencement ceremony may stream it live here.
The Indoor Performance Center/Armstrong Fieldhouse, 6024 Bishop Blvd., will be the site of post-ceremony receptions for undergraduates and their families starting at 2:00pm for undergraduates and 4:00 p.m. for graduate students and their families. No tickets are required for this event.
