Plans are underway for SMU and the Cox School 2022 Spring Commencement Ceremonies. Commencement Day is set for Saturday, May 14. The All-University ceremony will be outdoors at 9:00 a.m. at the Gerald J. Ford Stadium. Later the same day, Moody Coliseum will the site for both the Cox Undergraduate Ceremony at 1:00 p.m. and the Cox Graduate Ceremony at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are not required for the Cox ceremonies at Moody Coliseum.
Please note that tickets are required for candidate entry into the All-University Ford Stadium ceremony, but tickets are not required for guests. Please see Request Commencement Tickets for more information. Guests of the All-University Ceremony who prefer to sit indoors may watch the ceremony at simulcast locations in Crum Auditorium or the Laura Lee Blanton Building. This pertains to the All-University Ceremony only. Guests who are unable to attend the All-University ceremony may stream it live at smu.edu/live.
BBA students should check in at noon, dressed in commencement regalia, at the Dedman Center for Lifetime Sports to line-up for the ceremony. Guests unable to attend the BBA ceremony may stream it live at Cox School of Business Undergraduate Commencement 2022.
Graduate students should check in at 2:00 p.m. at the Dedman Center in their regalia. Guests unable to attend the Cox graduate commencement ceremony may stream it live at Cox School of Business Graduate Commencement 2022.
The Indoor Performance Center/Armstrong Fieldhouse , 6024 Bishop Blvd., will be the site of post-ceremony receptions for undergraduates and their families starting at 2:00pm for undergraduates and 4:00 p.m. for graduate students and their families. No tickets are required for this event.
