Event Security Request

SMU Police Officers are available to work events at SMU. Rate is $65 an hour per officer hired with a 4 hour minimum for each officer hired.

(New rate per hour effective as of Jan. 1, 2024)

To request officers for an event, please go to www.smu.edu/stable and complete an event request form. 

If STABLE does not have your location, you can fill out the below form to request officers.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call the department at 214-768-3388 or email police@smu.edu. 

***Cancellation Policy - If your event is cancelled, we must be notified 48 hours in advance or your group will still be charged.
