AR and VR can support experiential and collaborative learning

The following prototypes demonstrate the potential for AR and VR applications in STEM Collaborative Learning:

  • AR Geometry Hololens 2 collaboration learning
  • VR STEM Lab Oculus Quest collaborative learning
  • AR Chemistry Mobile App prototype for Android mobile

AR Geometry HoloLens 2 Collaborative Learning

This AR Geometry Hololens 2 prototype demonstrates the potential for teachers and students to collaborate in manipulating 2D and 3D objects whether they are in the same space or in different locations using commercially available augmented reality technology.

VR STEM Lab Oculus Quest Collaborative Learning

This VR STEM Lab Oculus Quest prototype demonstrates the potential for teachers and students to collaborate in manipulating 2D and 3D science and math objects from different locations using commercially available virtual reality technology.

AR Geometry Mobile App

This AR Chemistry Mobile App prototype demonstrates the potential for students to learn chemistry concepts by manipulating physical blocks to combine and deconstruct elements. This AR technology allows students to visualize complex concepts in a way that is not possible in the real world to help them learn.
