Biographical Note:

Stephen Hadley served as national security advisor to President George W. Bush from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, Hadley was deputy national security advisor from 2001 to 2005. His other positions in government have included assistant secretary of defense under President George H. W. Bush (1989-93) and the National Security Council staff under Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford (1974-77).
