Kelsey Smith joined the SMU Academic Development of Student-Athletes team in May 2023
where she serves as an Academic Counselor for Women’s Soccer and Rowing. Kelsey is a University of Arkansas graduate where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation and Sport Management. She then went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Postsecondary Administration and Student-Affairs from the University of Southern California. During her time at the University of Southern California, Kelsey worked with USC Athletic Academic Services as an Assistant Learning Specialist. Kelsey previously worked at Texas Christian University as an Assistant Academic Advisor for Men’s and Women’s Swim and Dive and Men’s Golf.
ADSA provides academic counseling to help student-athletes make informed decisions about their degree, major selection, plan their semester courses, and maintain their NCAA eligibility.
