Auditions and Portfolios
In addition to your application to SMU, Dance, Theatre and Music students must also complete an audition. Studio Art and Film and Media Arts students must submit a portfolio. Auditions are offered both on campus and at select cities across the United States. Studio artists are welcome to attend on-campus portfolio days.
It is not required that you complete your application to SMU prior to scheduling an audition or submitting your portfolio, but a complete application must be on file before we will notify you of your admission to the Meadows School. All Meadows admissions are contingent upon successful admission to the University.
