Simmons Students Shine
Five undergraduate Sport Management majors were among 850 students who competed in the qualification round of the National Collegiate Sport Sales Competition last fall and were selected among 250 to advance to the final round of competition in February 2026 in Atlanta. All five SMU students performed exceptionally well in the finals. Owen Kadrie and Nick Oliver delivered strong performances in the ticket sales competition with Owen finishing in the Top 16. Zane Atiya and Torin McClave presented outstanding ideas in the corporate partnership competition. Garrett Cannon gave an incredible delivery in the speed-selling and sales-skills contests.
