Amanda Chavez

Amanda Chavez is a higher education professional with more than 15 years of experience supporting university administration, academic programs, clinical operations, and student-focused initiatives. Her background includes administrative and executive support roles at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Texas A&M College of Dentistry.

Amanda currently serves as the Clinic Coordinator for the SMU Center for Family Counseling, where she supports the day-to-day operations of the clinic and helps facilitate an organized, welcoming environment for students, faculty, clinicians, and clients. She brings a strong combination of administrative expertise, relationship building, program coordination, and experience working within university and healthcare environments.
