About
Elisa Gallegos is the Data Operations Lead and an Evaluation Coordinator for The Addy Foundation Center on Research and Evaluation (CORE).
With more than a decade of experience in managing data for research and evaluation projects, Elisa specializes in developing compliant data handling systems that establish high-quality data and yield useful data products. Additionally, Elisa works with CORE partners in building their data capacity and to implement purposeful evaluations. Specifically, Elisa has domain knowledge in learning and development and in the spaces involving youth (e.g., school systems, special education services, out of school time, higher education). She also has interest in shaping policy to meet the needs of youth in their communities (e.g., family, peer, school, city). Elisa is passionate about work that contributes to social justice, and she holds ethical responsibility as her throughline.
Prior to joining CORE, Elisa managed longitudinal databases for Institute of Evidence-Based Education at SMU, in which her primary focus was in studying the effectiveness of several literacy interventions.
Elisa received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Southern Methodist University with a minor in Human Rights. She earned a Master of Science in Applied Cognition and Neuroscience degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.
