2027 Symposium: The Evolving Intersection of Sports Law, Science, and Technology

The SMU Science & Technology Law Review will host its annual symposium, "The Evolving Intersection of Sports Law, Science and Technology” on February 5th, 2027, on SMU Campus.
 
The Symposium will bring together esteemed scholars, experienced practitioners, and industry experts to explore the legal implications of emerging sports technologies and trends. Private practitioners, academics, students, and in-house counsel with an interest in athlete data privacy and analytics, artificial intelligence and biometric technology, NIL and digital rights, athlete health and safety, and emerging technologies shaping sports venues and the fan experience are encouraged to attend.
