Rob Banowsky '18

Rob Banowsky represents business owners and entrepreneurs in corporate and transactional matters. After years of practice both in-house and with a firm, Rob opened Robert L. Banowsky PLLC to better provide bespoke solutions for his clients.
His practice focuses on advising low‐market and middle‐market buyers and sellers in structuring, drafting, negotiating, and closing M&A transactions. He regularly counsels business owners on key decisions, including corporate governance, corporate resolutions, board counsel, business formation, commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, private financing agreements, product and intellectual property licensing, officer and employee incentive plans, consultant and independent contractor agreements, strategic asset structuring, SaaS agreements, and privacy compliance policies and disclosures.
As SMU Law alumnus, Rob is proud to teach and mentor law students.
