Jon Campoverde is a first-generation Latino interested in where religious identity intersects with speculative fictions, particularly within the Latine community. Outside of his studies, Jon is a husband to his wife Stephanie and a father to his daughter Elizabeth. His family and he live in Dallas, TX, where Jon hopes to finish his degree and finish his ordination journey in the United Methodist Church. Prior to the GPRS, Jon studied at Perkins School of Theology, receiving his MDiv in 2024, and Dallas Theological Seminary, receiving his ThM in 2018. Aside from his interest in speculative fiction, Jon is also interested in how mainline denominations have historically ministered to marginalized communities and how to better minister to these communities.
