Application
Subiendo strongly encourages students with the opportunity to be first in their families to attend college, or students who have overcome adversity, to apply. Only students who are Texas residents, current high school juniors, and live within an 80-mile radius of the SMU campus are eligible to apply for the Subiendo Academy at SMU.
The application for the 2026 Subiendo Academy at SMU is open. Applications will be due March 1, 2026. Subiendo Academy at SMU will be held June 21, 2026 - June 25, 2026.
