  • Bio

    Michael Seeligson is a clinical professor in finance, continuing at Cox after two years as a visiting associate professor. Prior to SMU, Michael was an Assistant Provost at UT Dallas, building the National Merit Scholars Program and serving as head of admissions for that university while he pursued his PhD studies in Finance and Economics. He holds a JD from the University of Virginia and master’s degrees in international business law from Sciences Po and The Sorbonne, both in France. His primary research focus is on the intersection of corporate governance and innovation. His academic research extends to the startup world where he has helped launch three startup companies in 3D printing and the biotech space.
