Graduate Leadership Certificate

The Graduate Leadership Certificate (GLC) program is a professional development opportunity open to all Lyle graduate students. The GLC program focuses on the leadership areas that employers look for in first level leaders and high potential employees.

The GLC is available at no cost and is an excellent addition to any resume. In addition to skills development workshops, Lyle graduate students complete a leadership assessment and have access to 1-on-1 leadership coaching. This is a non-credit bearing course. Register for Academic Year 2020-2021 below.

Overview of the Program

The Hart Leadership Program includes three phases: Assessment, Challenge, and Support.

  • Hart Leadership Assessment: A self-assessment reveals a student’s baseline leadership strengths and areas for growth. We help students review and analyze results, then customize a Personal Development Plan.

  • Hart Leadership Skills Workshop: Participants are provided the opportunity to learn, practice, and apply new leadership skills through a Personal Leadership Workshop and a Relational Leadership Workshop.

  • Hart Leadership Coaching: Participants are provided a personal coach for one-on-one sessions to both challenge and support their leadership development.
