The Department offers B.A., B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Computer Science. Along with the traditional Computer Science track, students can choose courses to satisfy various tracks in game development, research, cybersecurity or networks. Undergraduates can also enroll in interdisciplinary joint degree programs with the Meadows School of the Arts; for example, a B.A. in Computer Science with a B.A. in Creative Computing, or a B.A. in Computer Science with a B.A. in Music.
At the graduate level, we offer courses that cover advanced topics in Data Sciences and Analytics, Cybersecurity, Algorithm Engineering and Software Engineering. Some graduate degree programs are designed especially for professionals, including the M.S. in Security Engineering, M.S. in Software Engineering and Doctor of Engineering in Software Engineering. The Department also offers a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
