Ruth Collins Sharp Altshuler, a renowned civic and philanthropic leader as well as an SMU alumna and longtime supporter, died Dec. 8, leaving a legacy of leadership, friendship and generosity focused on institutions dedicated to improving lives.

December Commencement at SMU

December Commencement will take place in Moody Coliseum at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16. Degree candidates from all of SMU's schools and professional programs will attend the event and Bush Presidential Center CEO Ken Hersh to present the main address, which will be streamed live.
