Visit SMU

Picture yourself here

Let's face it, even the most vivid description can't give you a real, live experience. No matter how detailed the description of our amazing campus, our welcoming and friendly atmosphere, our outstanding academics and the abundance of opportunities we offer for you to explore activities, career options and even the world itself, you simply have to see it all for yourself to know if it's right for you.

Schedule your visit online today by selecting one of these daily visit options or prospective student programs.

Daily Visit Options

DAILY VISITS are offered Monday through Friday and include an admission information session, a campus tour, and an information session in your academic college. We can also help you personalize your day and arrange for you to sit in on a class, meet with a professor and eat lunch with current students during the school year.

SATURDAY VISITS offer a campus and residence hall tour and an information session on selected Saturdays during the spring and fall.

Prospective Student Programs

MUSTANG DAYS (formerly Mustang Mondays), during the summer preceding and fall of the senior year, are one-day, on-campus programs offering topics ranging from academic offerings and campus life to merit-based scholarships and financial aid along with a campus tour.

SPRINGFEST, for 9th through 11th graders, is an introduction to SMU and the college admission
process. This one-day, on-campus program includes workshops, academic sessions and a campus tour.

ACADEMIC SPOTLIGHTS include sessions and activities that give you the opportunity to take a closer look at your intended major, interact with students and faculty, and tour the facilities available to students within an academic school.

SMU PREVIEWS are held in selected cities across the U.S. and give students the opportunity to learn more about SMU, meet their admission counselor, and gain insight on majors, scholarships and campus life.

Transfer Student Programs

TRANSFER TUESDAYS are half-day information sessions and campus tours specifically geared for
transfer students, and held the third Tuesday of each month on the SMU campus.

TRANSFER STAMPEDE is an in-depth look at the transfer process, with the opportunity to get specific
