About

Dylan Farmer Clement is a Senior Evaluation & Research Consultant at the Addy Foundation Center on Research and Evaluation (CORE) in the Simmons School of Education and Human Development at Southern Methodist University. Since joining CORE in 2013, she has partnered with public agencies, school systems, nonprofit organizations, and philanthropic foundations to design and implement evaluation strategies that help organizations make better decisions, strengthen programs, and improve outcomes for children, families, and communities.

Dylan leads a diverse portfolio of research and evaluation initiatives spanning early childhood education, K–12 education, out-of-school time programming, higher education, and cross-sector collaborative partnerships. Her work centers on helping organizations define meaningful measures of success, build practical data systems, and transform complex information into clear, actionable insights. She has extensive experience in program evaluation, longitudinal research, implementation and impact studies, assessment and instrument development, and advanced quantitative analysis.

A defining aspect of Dylan's work is helping organizations move beyond simply collecting data to creating sustainable systems for continuous improvement. She works closely with clients to establish shared definitions of success, develop measurement frameworks, strengthen data infrastructure, and foster a culture in which evidence informs strategy and decision-making. Her collaborative approach emphasizes practical solutions that are both methodologically rigorous and responsive to the realities of implementation.

Prior to joining CORE, Dylan served as a research associate with the Institute for Evidence-Based Education at Southern Methodist University. She is a certified EC–6 classroom teacher and holds a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, both from Southern Methodist University.
