SAT and ACT Summer Institutes

Our in person ACT and SAT Summer Institutes aim to help students understand the design of the exam in a condensed, four-day format on the SMU campus. Students receive an overview of each section of the exam and then practice test-taking skills as a group and individually. Our instructors focus on teaching strategies for approaching the different types of exam questions and applying existing knowledge to solve them. SMU test preparation courses break down standardized tests into manageable units, giving you the skills needed to approach each question.

SMU offers completely online and self-paced courses for GED® test prep through our curriculum partner, MindEdge, Inc. You can select from individual subject matter courses or a comprehensive suite of courses that covers all four distinct test subjects.
