Texas is rapidly emerging as a major force in corporate and securities law. This year’s Irving L. Goldberg Symposium—hosted by SMU Dedman School of Law, the Robert B. Rowling Center for Business Law & Leadership, and the SMU Law Review—will bring together leading academics and industry experts to examine these pivotal developments. Topics will include Texas’s growing securities industry, the state’s competitiveness as a chartering jurisdiction, and the evolving influence of institutional and retail investors on corporate governance.
