Sophie Myers
Sophie Myers is from Houston, Texas, and is majoring in Political Science and Human Rights with a minor in Public Policy and International Affairs. On campus, Sophie is a member of the University Honors Program, the Alexander Hamilton Society, and serves as Marketing Coordinator for the Human Rights Council. She also plans to join the SMU Board Fellows Program and hopes to become a student leader with Amnesty International USA. Outside of SMU, Sophie has worked on a political campaign for a candidate running for Texas State Representative. She is especially passionate about education rights, humanitarian aid, and United Nations peacekeeping operations. After graduation, Sophie hopes to pursue a career in human rights with a non-governmental organization.
