Pamela Bailey joined Southern Methodist University’s Center on Research and Evaluation as an administrative assistant in 2014. She has spent many years in the business sector as an executive-level corporate recruiter and in higher education as an adjunct professor, teaching World Literature at Dallas Baptist University.
She is a writer, a documentary filmmaker, and a nationally published author. Pamela authored passages for an intelligent tutoring system to teach Hispanic students in second grade academic vocabulary in-depth for a research project funded by the National Science Foundation. She currently writes about culture and race, and Pamela is a contributing writer for the non-profit organization Decolonizing The Music Room.
Pamela is responsible for CORE’s administrative and marketing functions. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte and her Bachelor of Science degree in Business from South Carolina State University.
