The William P. Clements Department of History at Southern Methodist University, building on its established strength in Southwest and Borderlands History, is pleased to announce new graduate student and doctoral fellowships in the history of the presidency, American politics and foreign policy.
Graduate students will have the opportunity to study under the leadership of:
Jeffrey A. Engel - Director of the SMU Center for Presidential History and Associate Professor in the History Department
Thomas J. Knock - Associate Professor in the History Department
These graduate students have the opportunity to enjoy up to five years of highly competitive funding and research fellowships. Students also have the opportunity to research in the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum (on the SMU campus) and are within driving distance of three others:
