Connect to a Wireless Network

Wireless networks are available throughout the library. It may be necessary to configure your device, following these step-by-step instructions (under Documentation & Training).

Copy and Print

Self-service copiers and printers are located on the main and basement floors. The cost is 5 cents per page.

Faculty, staff, students and guests are able to print to any public printer on campus from public workstations or personal devices using the PaperCut pay for print system.

  • SMU faculty, staff, and students may send print jobs to the printer queue via their SMU email account or upload to PaperCut via a web browser, following these instructions. Students pay for printing by adding funds to their SMU ID cards through SMU ID Card Services.
  • Guest researchers who wish to print or photocopy will need to set up a PaperCut account, per these instructions.

Scan

Library materials may be scanned free-of-charge. Files created on the KIC (Knowledge Imaging Center) scanner in the basement can be saved to a flash drive, e-mailed, or uploaded to a smartphone or tablet. Please refer to this user guide for more information. Files generated on the flatbed scanners located on the main floor and basement can be e-mailed or saved to a flash drive.

Computers

Computers equipped for word processing, printing, and internet access are provided for library patrons. Accordance Bible Software and BibleWorks exegesis software and Kurzweil text-to-speech software are available on select computers.
