Lynne Dominick Novack joined the Tower Center in 2005. She is the only person to have served as a member of the Tower Center board, the staff, and now as a senior fellow. (Her father Peter Dominick (R-CO) was a close colleague of John Tower's in the U.S Senate until he left the Senate in 1974.) She previously was Executive Director of the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations (2000-2005). A founder (1995) of the American Committees on Foreign Relations, a national organization based in Washington DC, she served as president of ACFR for three of the first five years. She has continued as an at-large member of the board of ACFR. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and served on its national program committee through the end of 2014. On the advisory board of the Perot Museum of Nature & Science (2000-2014), she continues on its advisory council. She and her husband John spend the austral summer in Chilean Patagonia.
