SMU's formal support for teaching excellence has evolved over its twenty-year history. Here's where we came from.
CTE's work is guided and supported by an energetic Advisory Board, with representatives from each school at SMU plus the Provost's office, Academic Technology, Central University Libraries, the Altshuler Learning Enhancement Center, University Curriculum, and a graduate student representative.
Winners of the Altshuler Distinguished Teaching Award spend two years actively supporting CTE's work, especially through leading the Peer Feedback Program.
