PLEASE NOTE: Students currently taking classes through a dual enrollment program with their high school and local college/university or who are enrolled in summer school courses must complete a First Year Application.

Step 1: Decide which semester you wish to begin at SMU

Transfer admission decisions are made on a rolling basis.

Fall Admission: 
  • June 1 (scholarship consideration for all scholarships excluding our full-tuition scholarship)
  • April 1
  • August 1 (final deadline)
Spring Admission:
  • November 1
Summer Admission:
  • June 1

You are welcome to send materials separately; however, please be sure all materials clearly indicate your first, middle and last name, and your date of birth. We recommend that you make and keep a copy of all application forms for your records.
