The Student Minister is primarily responsible for our children and youth ministry by developing, promoting, and implementing activities for our children & youth from birth through 12th grade. This position also includes general church work such as worship participation, aiding in funerals, and other duties as assigned to develop a comprehensive understanding of ministry. This position also includes the ability to interface with our non-profit partner organizations and learn more about how churches and non-profits can be mutually supportive.

20 hrs/wk - Christ UMC is a friendly, active and dynamic church of 450+ members and a supportive staff and a mission focus “To Share the Love of Christ.” The Director of Youth Ministry is a part-time position. As Youth Director you will be responsible for Sunday morning classes with provided youth-appropriate curriculum, a Sunday (once weekly) evening activity with youth, and some week-long summer activities such as a mission trip, VBS, and Hype Week. They shall seek to foster a strong education program through building relationships with parents, students, volunteers, and church leadership.
