Engagement Opportunities
Faith and Business Luncheons
Because of scheduling conflicts, we need to cancel the previously announced Perkins Faith and Business Luncheon originally scheduled for April 15. At a later date, watch for an announcement about the next Faith and Business luncheon this fall.
Perkins Scholarship Luncheon
We are honored to have Mr. Clark K. Hunt (’87) as our guest for the 2024 Bolin Family Perkins Scholarship Luncheon: Public Life, Personal Faith. Pastor Richie Butler (’93) will serve as emcee. The luncheon is a fundraising and outreach event of Perkins School of Theology in service to the larger community and serves as a major fundraiser for student scholarships.
Distinguished Alumnus/a Award
Each year, Perkins School of Theology recognizes Perkins graduates who have demonstrated effectiveness and integrity in service to the church, continuing support and involvement in the goals of Perkins School of Theology and SMU, distinguished service in the wider community and exemplary character.
Woodrow B. Seals Laity Award
The Woodrow B. Seals Laity Award is presented annually to a layperson in the United States who exemplifies an exceptional commitment of service to Christ through faith and action in the church, community and the world.
Publications
Perspective magazine, distributed annually, is the official print publication for alumni/ae, friends, donors and supporters of Perkins School of Theology.
